| The strange little man |
| Once a man went to fetch wood. While he walks like this... And he looks around: On one of the branches a man is sitting. And on the branch, on the branch, from the bulky end of the branch next to the tree-trunk to the treetop he sat down. Then from the treetop he took a look there. “You, well, why are you sawing off this tree? You will actually fall down.” Well, probably se... and... Not one thing changes. And he [the man who is sitting on the branch] continues to saw off the branch by its bulky end next to the tree-trunk. So he sawed, he sawed, one... sometime later, it is true, listen, he then fell down. It comes to light. It is simply true, that the one there is a skilled man. That thing, look!, he knew it, he says, look!, so he said: “Then you’ll actually fall down – he says. Don’t you saw!“ He is truly in truth a skilled man. So he knew this. Sometime later the man, who went to bring wood, goes back. He walks. And again he found that one man. „Well, [if] you’re so ehr clever ehr. Well, you’re skilled. Well, say: When will I di... die? You probably know that, actually.” “Aaa, you wait for it, when your horse farts for the third time, then you’ll die.” One day that man with the wood, one day, he is waiting. | Einmal ging ein Mann Holz holen. Während er so geht... Und er schaut sich um: Auf einem Ast sitzt ein Mann. Und auf den Ast, auf den Ast, vom dicken, an den Baumstamm angrenzenden Ende des Astes aus setzte er sich zum Baumwipfel. Vom Wipfel des Baumes schaut er dann dorthin. „Du, nun, wieso sägst du diesen Baum ab? Du wirst wirklich noch hinunterfallen.“ Nun, wahrscheinlich se... und... Überhaupt nichts ändert sich. Und er [der Mann, der auf dem Ast sitzt] sägt den Ast weiter von seinem dicken, an den Baumstamm angrenzenden Ende. So sägte er es und sägte er es, ein... irgendwann später, so ist es wahr, hör zu, fiel er dann herunter. Es stellt sich heraus. Irgendwann später kam er zu einem Hü... Hügel. Der Schlitten war schwer, nun, das Pferd pupste. Ach du, es scheint, so so, es scheint jene Zeit war gekommen, es ist wahr, es wurde jene Zeit, jenes pupste das zweite Mal. Seine Kraft genügte nicht[, um den Schlitten zu ziehen]. Er hat den Schlitten zu sehr mit jenem Holz beladen. Und die Zukunft wird vorhergesagt, in der nahen Zukunft wird das Pferd wirklich noch ein drittes Mal, wie jener Mann gesagt hat, wirklich pupsen – „Mein Lebensende, hier kommt es! Jetzt hacke ich Holz. Und ich stopfe es [das Pferd] mit einem Pfahl zu. Wirklich in naher Zukunft kommt wirklich schon mein Lohn. In dieser nahen Zukunft [sterbe ich] wirklich wegen meinem Gelebten. Jener Mann hat das sowieso vorher so gesagt, er hat es so gesagt, dass ich vom Baum herunterfalle und so wurde es dann, SO.“ Und er hackte den Baum... Baumast. Und die Kuh, den Hintern der Kuh sto... in den Hintern des Pferdes stopfte er es. Er stopfte ihn dort hinein und: „Jetzt gehe ich dann wirklich weiter.“ Diese Kuh... Pferd strengt sich an, strengt sich an, aber seine Kraft genügte nicht. Es packte [es] energisch an. Da pupste es. Von jenem Holzpfahl wurde er hier durch die Stirn getroffen. Und das Ende jenes Mannes war da gekommen. Und er fiel tot um. Ja, sein Lebensende ist dann da, für diesen Mann. Jener, es stellt sich heraus, jener jener Mann war bis zu dem Maße [dumm]. Tu... so dumm war er. Wieso sägt er jenen Ast so bei dem dicken, am Baumstamm angrenzenden Ende des Astes ab. Dann fällt er später wirklich hinunter. Und jene Pfähle... wieso stopft er mit jenem Pfahl den Hintern des Pferdes zu. Als es dann wirklich dort pupst, wirklich, kommt dieses Ding wirklich raus. Durch seine Stirn so kam er [der Pfahl]. So, so, solch, so dum... so merkwürdig war er, nicht dumm. Und sein Ende war dann da bekommen, nun. Jenes dumme Männchen. [Ru. Das ist alles.] |

| Однажды один мужик пошёл за дровами. Так вот он идёт... Вот он осматривается: на ветке дерева сидит один мужик. И на ветку, на ветку... он уселся на верхушку дерева, на основание ветки у ствола. [И] там с вершины дерева он туда смотрит. «Ты это зачем так отпиливаешь, это дерево? Ты же упадёшь». Ну, наверное се... и... Ничего не происходит [имеется ввиду: он не обращает внимания]. Дальше эту ветку у основания пилит. Так пилил-пилил, и вот... ну и вправду так и упал. Оказалось... И вправду там [на верхушке дерева сидящий мужчина] – ведающий человек, да уж. Он об этом, смотри-ка, знал, мол, смотри-ка, он же говорил: ты ведь упадёшь, мол. Не пили! И вправду, [он] там – ведающий человек. Вот это он знал. И вот тот мужик, ушедший за дровами, идёт обратно. Идёт. И снова встретил того мужчину. «Что же, [если] ты такой эээ... умный эээ... Ты же ведающий. Ну-ка, скажи, когда я пом... умру? Ты ведь, наверное, знаешь!» «Ааа, жди, когда твоя лошадь три раза пукнет, тогда ты и умрёшь». И вот тот мужик, который пошёл за дровами, вот он ждёт. Спустя некоторое время он пришёл к хол... к холму. Нарта тяжёлая, [поэтому] лошадь пукнула. Ах ты, кажется так, кажется то время наступило; и вправду, настало время, и та [лошадь] пукнула во второй раз. У неё не хватает сил [чтобы сдвинуться с места]. Он слишком много дров на нарты погрузил. И, как предсказано, в скором будущем, так ведь в третий раз... – как тот мужчина и сказал – когда [лошадь] ведь пукнет[, глупый мужик думает]: «Конец моей жизни, вот он! Сейчас дерево срублю. И колом заткну [зад лошади]. В скором будущем ведь... ведь моя расплата придёт. Из-за того, как я жил, в скором будущем ведь [умру]. Тот мужчина же всё равно сказал, так сказал, давеча сказал, [что] с ветки упаду, и так ведь оно потом и случилось». И дерево... ветку отрубил [чтобы сделать кол]. И его корове, в зад коровы засу... в зад лошади засунул. Туда он его засунул и [говорит]: «Сейчас действительно дальше пойду». Эта корова... лошадь силится, силится, силы её не хватает. Она с силой дёрнула. Так и пукнула. Тем деревянным колом ему по лбу прилетело. И вот тут пришёл тому мужику конец. Он упал замертво. Да, вот там и был конец жизни того мужика. Тот мужик, оказывается, настолько [глуп]. Ту... совсем глупым был. Зачем он ту ветку у основания пилил? Чуть позже он ведь упадёт. А те колья... зачем он засунул кол в зад лошади? И вот тогда, когда она пукнула, та штука ведь и вылетела. Вот ему по лбу и прилетело. Таким, таким, таким глуп... странным он был, не глупым. И там его конец и пришёл. Тот глупый мужичок. Всё. |
